Gender Wellness of Los Angeles is made up of highly trained and experienced clinicians. We offer counseling, group counseling, family counseling, as well as psychiatric evaluations and medication management. We also have a team of consultants that we work closely with and refer to. These referrals include some of the best doctors in the world who are all active members of the organization WPATH (World Professional Association of Transgender Health). All of our clinicians and consultants are committed to the health and well being of our patients. Our consultants also include massage therapists, lawyers, electrologists, voice coaches, life coaches and personal shoppers. We are located in the heart of Los Angeles, California and here at Gender Wellness of Los Angeles, we are able to provide the necessary letter to begin HRT and required letters needed for Sex Confirming Surgery. We also work with clients who are exploring their sexual orientation, gender variant adolescents with or without their parents and others trying to figure out who they are. Casey Weitzman is available to provide training to employers, high schools, colleges and graduate programs. She has appeared on several television shows and news programs and enjoys educating and normalizing this community.
Gender Wellness of Los Angeles wants to thank all its generous sponsors for helping to put on a wonderful, festive and successful party at Rockwell. Thank you to all the providers, the attendees and the community for coming out and supporting our first annual event where we were able to raise $2,000.00 for the non-profit organization TYFA (TransYouth Family Allies). Kim Pearson, the Executive Director was on the scene as well as her son and his partner, selling raffle tickets and passing out brochures about the organization and how it helps gender variant children and families. Next year, we look forward to returning to Rockwell and raising more money for this terrific organization. Thank you Kim for doing the wonderful work that you do. And finally, I would like to thank Wayne Elias who offered us such a beautiful and warm space to have our party. We appreciate your commitment to the transgender community and we look forward to being back next year.
